The Insurance Companies Bill 1982 was finalized. An ExCo memorandum is being prepared to seek ExCo's advice as to whether the Bill should be introduced into LegCo. Agreements reached with the Insurance Industry Working Group and unre- solved issues will be highlighted therein.

1981 Economic Background, a supporting document for the 1982-83 Budget prepared and considered by the Working Group on Developments in the Economy and the Economic Review Committee.

Budget Speech being prepared.
To publish the report on Budget Day and tol prepare the First Quarter Economic Report for 1982.
