(1) Overall review

An "'international Panel of Visitors from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation phd Development has now completed- an Overall Review of our education øypten. The Panel conducted two very successful public plonary sessions in Hong Kong earlier this year in which they pointed to major areas of concern. These included the nood to simplify our complex educational system and to improve our ability to formulate policy and plan new developments, The Panel's recommendationE will be carefully considered by the Government.
