The Council considered memorandum XCR (82)44.

The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED:

(a) that the Offences against the Ferson

(Amendment) Bill 1982, at Annex A to

the memorandum should be deferred; and

(b) that the Attorney General should reconsider

the proposal in the light of the comments

of members, and at the same time should

examine the maximum sentence for child-

stealing.
