Home Office

you would supply me with copies of the laws relating to Conspiracy which are or can be applied in England and Wales only.
May I finally take this opportunity to thank you and your office in my previous research and also thank you in anticipation of your assistance in this present request. I would also like to stress that my intention is to gather information which will enable me to extend the present limits of my existing data and statistics and not as some would expect from the letter heading to commence a campaign against any legal discrepancies. Cne should, I consider, always live and let live and while the informa- tion I am requesting is of a delicate nature, I am sure that you will by now accept my ability to be discrete with such information.
It is unfortunate that the Falkland Islands have to be included in my list, but my position is that of Her Majesty's Government i.e., this territory is subject to British sovereignty both by custom and the wishes of the residents.
Once again I thank you in anticipation of your assistance in these matters.
Yours sincerely,
Da Thomlin,
D. A. Thornton, Esq.
