9. Gibraltar legislation also refers to other classes of person, notably British Subjects. As the 1981 Act is understood here, there is no legal reason necessarily to amend those terms although it may be that at a future date, as a matter of policy, the Gibraltar Government may wish to consider restricting all or sone of the rights it at present confers on Commonwealth citizens at large to nationals of the United Kingdom and ita dependencies or possibly even more narrowly.
