1. Thank you for forwarding a copy of the Economic and Social Council document No E/1982/3/Add. 16 of 30 March.
2. The Section of the document covering the Falkland Islands is generally correct but I should be grateful if the following amendments could be made to future issues:
(i)
Paragraph 27 should read:-
"27.
Until 1 April 1982, there were two privately run cinemas in Stanley which have since closed down. In their place, video has made a large impact and many families now have their own sets. In addition, nearly all the farm settlements have a video. Films are still despatched to the Colony and are shown on a private basis. There is a small museum, run by a board of trustees, which is open to the public and is of particular interest to visitors to the Colony.
(ii) Paragraph 29 should read:
"29.

In addition to the broadcasting service mentioned, there is one local newspaper which is published privately once a week. There is no television service. Films and videos have already been mentioned.
