PARLIAMENTARY QUESTION

BRITISH POSSESSIONS, AND DEPENDENCIES

1. Mr John Home Robertson MP (Berwick and East Lothian) has raised the following PQ.

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list the British possessions and dependencies which are subject to any form of territorial claim by other nations'

The PQ is unlikely to be reached for oral reply. Supplementaries are not therefore required. A reply is required by Parliamentary Unit by noon on Wednesday

2 June 1982. They confirm that as far as they are aware Mr Robertson has no specific interest in dependent territories.

3. I list below our Dependent Territories and should welcome. the comments of the relevant geographical departments

on individual territories. I shall then clear the reply with Legal Advisers:
