The Lord McNair-To ask Her Majesty's Government whether the Governor of Pitcairn Island has reported on his recent visit to the island and, if so, what he said and what action is being taken.
The answer to the noble Lord's question is
"Yes.". During the Governor's visit, eleventh to e
eleventh to eighteenth June, he discussed with the Island Council numerous matters of current interest or concerning the island's future development, These will form the subject of considered recommendations by the Council to the Governor,
as appropriate.
