1. Instead of "is no longer applicable" I suggest "is no longer appropriate" Alternatively the first sentence of the draft answer might be omitted.

Following the precedent set by Mr Rowlands on 21 January 1976 [Hansard Col 482] I suggest we omit, from the list of Dependent Territories, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and the sovereign base areas in Cyprus. Apart from those exceptions the list should be as complete and accurate as possible. Items 4, 7 and 11 need to be checked.
