My dear Crawley

you

a aliyo reply

from MR Onslow psr. 9/6

Thank you so much for your letter

of the 27th May, and for all the trouble you have taken in outlining the position with regard to our dependent territories. I can quite see that some misunderstanding crept in with regard to the

B.V.I. insofar as aid from international

organisations was concerned.

It occurs to me that it might be worth having a referendum in all our dependent territories as we did in Gibraltar, and then announcing to the United Nations that we will no longer take part in debates concerning these territories in their

Committee colonialisation on

Colonialism!!

Again, so many thanks for your trouble.

Cranley Onslow Esq. MP

Minister of State,

Foreign Office,

LONDON S.W.1.
