I am afraid that this office does not have up to date details of the Governor's salary since this was probably revised in June last. However, details of the revision must be in the FCO under the procedure I explained to Mr. Lindsay.

The current salary of the Chief Secretary is HK$490,200 P.A. and the Financial Secretary HK$465,000 P.A. The entertainment allowances remain as stated in your letter.
