PHOTOCOPYING MACHINE FOR MONTSERRAT

1. I should be grateful if you would deal with the attached minute from Miss Parry (WIAD) which covers a self-explanatory letter from the Governor of Montserrat requesting the provision of, inter alia a photocopying machine and regular supply of paper.

2. Although this is, of course, a Dependent Territory, OED have been involved over the past two or three years in arranging for the supply of domestic equipment and have recently obtained Treasury approval to assist the Territory in the matter of furnishing and maintaining Government House from FCO funds administered under our C5 subheads. Photocopiers are not our responsibility, however, and I hope you will be able to give sympathetic consideration to Mr Dale's request.
