Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This ordinance may be cited as the Dangerous

Drugs (Amendment) Ordinance 1981.

Addition of Part VIIA.

(cap. 134.).

2. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding

49A. In this part, unless the

context otherwise requires

"Commissioner" means the Commissioner

for Narcotics;

"confidential information" means

information which is recorded by

the Registry or a reporting agency

in respect of any person and which

relates to any one or more of the
