impose restrictions on inspection, if for example there was a real risk of the right of inspection being used for a collateral pur- pose". The Court of Appeal held that such a restriction could be imposed by the Court requiring that before any order for inspection be made the Solicitors concerned undertake that they will not show the papers to any person other than their Counsel or such persons whom Counsel should require to see the documents (with the express stipulation that those persons only see the documents for the purpose of the action and do not use them for any other purpose). The form of the Order in that case is contained at pages 112 and 113 of the Report.

Because of the dubious record of the Defendant's

publication I think that such a restriction on inspection of the afore-mentioned two documents would be warranted as there is a real risk that otherwise details of the documents will be published in "Private Eye".
