(b) articles for the personal use of an
officer of the Visa Office or members of
his family forming part of his household,
including articles intended for his
establishment:
Provided that the articles intended
for consumption shall not exceed the
quantities necessary for direct utilization
by the persons concerned.
(2) Employees of the Visa Office shall enjoy the
privileges and exemptions specified in subsection (1)
in respect of articles imported at the time of first
installation.
(3) Personal baggage accompanying officers of the
Visa Office and members of their families forming part of
their households shall be exempt from inspection unless
there is reasonable cause to believe that it contains
articles other than those referred to in paragraph (b)
of subsection (1), or articles the import or export of
which is prohibited by the law of Hong Kong or which are subject to its quarantine law and Inspection shall be
carried out in the presence of the officer or member of
his family concerned.
