of stay imposed under section 11(2) of

this Ordinance; and the provisions of this

Ordinance shall apply accordingly.

Section 14(1).

7.

Section 14(1) shall have effect

as if it included a reference to an alien

who is in Hong Kong on the commencement date,

being an alien who had become liable before

that date to comply with section 25(1) of

the Immigration (Control and Offences)

Ordinance but had not complied therewith.

Section 16.

8. Section 16 shall have effect as if

the references to particulars furnished in

an arrival card and to particulars furnished

in the prescribed form pursuant to section

14(1) include respectively references to

corresponding particulars furnished to the

Director or to the former immigration officer

or to the former Registrar of Aliens in

accordance with the Immigration (Control

and Offences) Ordinance or the repealed

Immigrants Control Ordinance or a

requirement made under either of those

Ordinances.
