1. I enclose a copy of a letter sent by the President of this Taiwanese organisation to Lord Hailsham, which was passed to the FCO for reply.

2. As the Association is based in Taiwan, we have advised the Private Office that no reply should be sent.

You may, however, be interested in the references to Lau Fat-sang and also in the enclosed photographs. Are they in fact genuine? They seem pretty convincing, but not particularly damaging.
