Page 11, line 25, leave out (“ subject to subsection (2) ").

The noble Lord said: Amendment No. 112 is a paving amendment for an amendment later on to leave out subsection (2) of Clause 10. Subsection (2) of Clause 10 refers to certain people who acquired citizen- ship of the United Kingdom and Colonies by virtue of the British Nationality (No. 2) Act 1964.
