5. The exception to the rule that transmission of citizenship to children born abroad would normally end at the first generation will apply to BC and CBDT (paragraph 56 of the White Paper).

Children born after commencement to British

citizens serving Hoda overseas in Crown

and certain other types of service (to be

designated) will automatically acquire British citizenship. Children born to other British citizens in employment with the government of a dependent territory will be entitled to be registered as

BC if the parent's appointment was affected by the Crown Agents. Corresponding provisions are made T for children of CPD born in similar circumstances outside dependent territories
