Bearing in mind both the previous decision of the Governor in Council and the temporary nature of the transmitting facilities on the existing site, Members are asked to advise, under the terms of sub- paragraph (b) of the preamble to the licence attached at Annex A, that Hong Kong Commercial Broadcasting Company Limited should be permitted as a temporary measure to duplicate existing MF broadcasts in FM from a transmitter at Temple Hill.
(The Commissioner for Television and Entertainment Licensing (Mr N. J.V. WATT) and the Assistant Postmaster General (Telecommuni- cations) (Mr J. A. POVEY) will attend before the Council for the discussion of this item).
