On the other hand, I believe that there would be genuine commercial and technical advantages in the siting of a relay station there, in particular the fact that Hong Kong should be able to receive and record the full BBC World Service and Chinese language services at a high quality. I believe that we still await the BBC's contribution on this. When it comes we should make the most of it. We should not reduce its credibility by using unconvincing political arguments.
