for two years as part of their initial teacher

education course;

to have, normally, two years full-time post-initial

training experience in teaching the subject for

which application is made;

to be, preferably, engaged in teaching that subject at the

time of application;

to demonstrate proficiency in English adequate to

pursue the Advanced Course.

(iii) A direct entry applicant should have studied the subject

elected for specialisation on the Advanced Course

throughout the two years of his initial college of

education course.
