CHARACTER OF THE COLLEGE

The CNAA noted and fully recognised in its enquiries the Christian ideals and foundation of the College. It sought to explore the problems which this private College. was facing in the context of the White Paper.

PURPOSES OF THE APPRAISAL

While CNAA did not seek to cover every point in the following list, it kept clearly in mind during the discussions the following aspects in regard to which it sought to establish confidence in the College's

procedures for the setting and maintenance of standards, and the matching of plans to available resources:-

The history of the College as a background to its current role.

The range of courses offered.

The way in which the College is governed.

The way in which the College is funded.

The procedures for appointing staff.

The matching of plans to staff resources. The academic control structure.
