Explanatory Note
These regulations amend regulations 61 and 67 of
the principal regulations to empower the Director of
Education to authorize individual schools to make charges
for matters not included in the school fees published in
the Gazette and which would be impractical to so include
such as charges for overdue school library books and
breakages of school equipment.

The combined certificate in regulation 67
is replaced by new English and Chinese versions.

As business or trading operations are closely controlled under regulation 99A that regulation has been excluded from the ambit of regulation 61 to avoid the
