On 14th October, I wrote to you regarding our Miss Campbell in Hong Kong and her "adopted" refugee unaccompanied boys. I received an assurance from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office that steps would be taken to have the matter fully investigated.

I am delighted to tell you that I have to-day heard from Miss Campbell and it would appear that the interviewing process for admission to the United States has been re-opened and that the prospect of resettlement is much brighter.

On behalf of my Council, I express our deep appreciation for the ready response of both your office and that of the Foreign and Commonwealth office.

I have the honour to be,

Her Car.
