Clause 8 amends section 53 (review of

decisions of public officers) of the principal

Ordinance to provide that no objection may be made

under that section to a warrant of detention issued

under the new section 13A(6) since the appeal provisions

in the new section 13B apply to such warrants.

11.

The Bill may involve in a minor increase

in public expenditure but will not result in an

increase in Government staff.
