(5) A notice under subsection (2)

or (4) shall be given to a Vietnamese

refugee in such manner as may be

prescribed.

(6) Without prejudice to section 41,

where the Director is satisfied that a

Vietnamese refugee has contravened any

condition of stay in force in respect of

him, the Director may

(a)

issue a warrant authorizing

the detention of such

person for a period not

exceeding 28 days;

or

(b) cancel or vary any condition

of stay in force in respect

of such person.

(7)

Where the Director issues a

warrant of detention under subsection

he shall cause written notice to be

served as soon as is practicable on

the Vietnamese refugee against whom it

is issued informing him
