Amend the Immigration Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Immigration

(Amendment) Ordinance 1981.

2.

Section 2(1) of the principal Ordinance is

amended

(a) by inserting after the definition of "re-entry

permit the following definition

refugee centre" means any place

designated under section 13C

as a refugee centre; "; and

(b) by deleting the definition of "Vietnamese

refugee card" and substituting the following

definitions

"Vietnamese refugee" means a person who -

(a)

was previously resident in

Vietnam; and
