THE MASS TRANSIT RAILWAY (LAND RESUMPTION AND RELATED PROVISIONS) (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1981

The Mass Transit Railway is to be extended along the north shore of Hong Kong Island i.e. to stages 5 and 8 Sections 2, 3 and 4 accordingly extend the application of the provisions of the principal Ordinance to those stages.
2. Section 2 also amends the definition of "railway" in section 2 of the principal Ordinance to include any extension to the Mass Transit Railway.
3. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
