Hong Kong will not be keen to consider voluntary restraints and I suggest that our industry should be looking at ways of cooperating with Hong Kong manufacturers to the benefit of both sides instead of resorting to restrictive practices. There are political implications in this which I suggest need to be given careful thought in the year of the MFA renegotiation. Has the TAG given the matter any thought?
