9. The CCIC Finance Ltd. has participated as co-lead manager in a syndicated

term loan to Shin Ho Sheng Development Ltd. for US$42 million. The loan is for building of the "Xianggang Hotel" in Guangzhou.

The CCIC Finance Ltd., is the joint venture merchant bank group formed by the Bank of China, the First National Bank of Chicago, the Industrial Bank of Japan and the China Resources Company. Each of the bank partners have a 30 per cent share and China Resources holds the remaining 10 per cent.

10. Kincheng Banking Corporation, Bank of China and the Bank of Tokyo have

formed a finance company with 50:50 shareholding ratio between China and Japan. The authorised capital is $5 million. The company will undertake to provide finance for joint ventures in China. The company is known as Kincheng Tokyo Finance Ltd.
