That, in precis, was the thesis of the last article in the "Hong Kong Today" series. It was couched in strong language and was unmitigating in its condemnation of Hong Kong society as utterly corrupt. The author conceded that crime could not be attributed entirely to culture, but he made no effort to illustrate any good points in the culture of Hong Kong.
