I attach a draft reply to Mr Norbury's letter of 1 July to the Private Secretary. I should be grateful for any comments you may have by mid-day on Wednesday 8 July.

I think the reply should be short. In particular, problems over dates will come out when we consult Posts. Almost certainly there will have to be some rejigging of the itinerary.
