Thank you so much for your note, and I must apologise for not replying in manuscript but the com- bination of a bed table and my hand-writing would be lethal.

I seem to be getting on all right now and hope to be out by the end of the week. There will then be a long slow period of rehabilitation but they seem quite clear that the final product will be as good as new!
