MULTI-FIBRE ARRANGEMENT

The attached brief prepared for the Secretary of State's visit is
still valid. Since the visit the MFA has been discussed in OD(€)
Committee and the strategy recommended in paragraph 6 of the brief
was adopted in principle. Officials are now working on the details
of the UK's position.
