Dear Morrice
VISIT TO HONG KONG AND PEKING
1.
3
Thank you for your letter of 16 January. We shall be glad to see the person named in your letter together with his wife, in Peking between 2 and 5 March. We have started the process of trying to make a hotel booking for them.
2. I would suggest that details of the visitors proposed travel plans in China are given to the Chinese Embassy, when application for a visa is made. It would also be wise to try
to book the internal flights, and the accommodation needed in provincial cities through the China Travel Service in London: of course we could confirm those reservations when the visitors arrive here.
Yours ever
Michal Atherton
