I was very pleased to have the opportunity to meet you and your colleagues on the Urban Council on 31 March. As you know, the concern of the people of Hong Kong about a number of issues, including the Nationality Bill, has been represented to the British Government in London, and
it was very useful for me to have the opportunity to discuss these matters directly with you and your colleagues
on the Council.

We shall of course continue to pay close attention
to the interests of the people of Hong Kong.
