I should be most grateful if you could assist us in the following matter.

The International Federation of Business and Professional Women is holding its 42nd Board Meeting in Hong Kong, 16-19 February, 1982 and has invited H.E. The Governor of Hong Kong, Sir. Murray MacLehose to be patron of the meeting. A letter of invitation was sent on January 28th, 1981 and a further letter was sent on February 24th, 1981 as no reply had been received. Mr. S.P. Carrick, Aide-de-Camp to H.E. The Governor informed us on February 27th, 1981 that no letter had been received. Accordingly, on March 3rd, 1981 we mailed a further copy of the letter and documents by Registered Post. To date we have received no reply, and we are extremely concerned.

I was informed by Miss Ellis, in the Hong Kong Department of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office that we would be able to dispatch a further copy through your office. I hope the above explains situation. I am sure you will appreciate our concern in this.
