Girls Chasing--a production of the Cinema City and

Film Co.

This film has been on shown in 22 local cinema houses

since August 7. and has its box office record approach- ing 9 million dollars.

At the beginning of this film. a bogus flag side by side with the Stars & Strippes was shown leading a procession when people in China Town in NY were celebrating a certain

occasion. This of course would create some sort of

confused impression upon the audience in Hong Kong.

Of course, there is nothing of great importance about it. The TV & Entertainment Licencing Authority might have overlook such a small incident. Yet the banning of

the film "The Coldest Winter in Peking" had won applause from the people in Hong Kong. We are glad about it.

It is our hope that something more and better could be done. Take for instance, on the problem of unification of the small island to her motherland, the said department

at her position, can do much towards cementing goodwill

between us.
