(ii) CAAC agreed to unc-month extensions

for enhanced capacity on HK/Shanghai. serviccs for August, September and October. They appear reluctant to agree to further extensions, as they have introduced a thrice-wookly Nanjing/K service and appear intent on bending additional true Shanghai/ HK traffic over Nanjing rather han let it accrue to CPA's and, indeed, their own direct services,

(iii) As from 1 November 1981, CAAC will have a total of 42 services a week to HK from 7 Chinoso cities. This leaves a balance of two cities from which they may mount scrvicos: one of these is likely to be Xian.

As to Chek Lap Kok :

(a) progress on the airport master

plan, metcorological, and civil enginering design
