Wider Circulation of RTHK Public Affairs Television programmes
Purpose
To increase officers' awareness of public affairs and access programmes on radio and television, and to encourage their participation in such programmes by the provision of basic training.
To make suitable programmes more readily available through schools and USD libraries.
Progress Made and Present Position
Arrangements were set in train for a series of sessions to be held in November/December.
Video cassette tapes of selected programmes were made available to USD libraries and were well received. Similar tapes were also made available to schools.
Next Quarter Target
To continue organising similar or improved sessions to meet proven demand.
To expand the project as and when equipment & staff became available.
