(f) Registration period for NT District
Board election in March 1982 com- menced on 1st Sept. Over 400,000 registration forms distributed
by DOS after first week of registration.
(g) Resources for DBs and DMCS -
(i) Request put up to FB for
the purchase of 4 more sets of s.i. equipment for 1981-82.
(ii) Staff for DB Secretariat
posts approved by DEC and being filled by stages.
(iii) Schedule of accommodation for DB Secretariat put up to DALA and action in hand to acquire the necessary accommodation.
(h) Candidates for NTDB election
March 1982 - regular reports being submitted by DOS and a close watch being kept of formation of poli- tical parties and emergence of candidates.
