The Working Group on the Student Travel Scheme is presently finalising details of the new scheme and the interim arrangements.
Following HMG's refusal to grant home status to Hong Kong students studying in the UK, two schemes of financial assistance have been drawn up to assist Hong Kong students attending first degree courses or HND courses at Polytechnics. One is an emergency Ioan scheme
