1. I have been advised by Mr Jakeman, NTD to refer to you the attached papers.
2. The background to this matter is that a Miss Clare Demuth of Transport House is preparing background notes for Opposition members on the Select Committee. She asked for information on
Belize, Falkland Islands and Pitcairn Islands. Her specific questions are set out in para 1 of the attached minute at flag A.
3. The information was supposed to be with Miss Demuth before the end of this week but I have only today received the information
on Pitcairn and Belize.
4. In view of the references to the Nationality Bill, Mr Jakeman
thought it would be best if NTD were to see the information provided by the geographical desks on the question of nationality. I have therefore attached copies of the relevant minutes and I would be grateful for any comments/changes you may wish to make before the information is despatched to Miss Demuth.
