You may remember that we spoke a little while ago about my being due to address the Focus Group at the Royal Commonwealth Society on March 26th, on the subject of 'Decolonisation the Colonies that Don't Want to Go".

As I told you then, I should be most grateful for a full briefing from the Foreign Office on all these matters, since I am well aware of the political sensitivity of many of them. I look forward to receiving a package from your officials in good time, so that I may have the opportunity of raising further queries with them should the need arise.
