(39) 1. Please refer to my minute of 7 July to Mr Ure, copied to you, submitting a paper on future staffing in the Dependent
Territories.
2.
The Chief Clerk has agreed that the recommendations in the paper be implemented as proposed.
3. A DS officer with some colonial background has already been selected for the Deputy Governor, Bermuda, post. The next 1 job' training post may not arise until 1982 or 1983.
