FUTURE STAFFING IN THE DEPENDENT TERRITORIES

When I saw Mr Luce on 29 October, he expressed an interest in staffing policy for the Dependent Territories. He may wish to see the attached paper which was issued in June. The Chief Clerk has approved the recommendations in paragraph 19. The question of appointing an ex-Governor to act as a Special Adviser is mentioned in paragraph 14 of the paper.

You will note from 19(g) that this has not yet had financial approval and is still subject to consideration.
