DS officers, Consulting Physician ODA for others) 12. Clear pensionable status of Governor-designate

14. Formal submission by S of S to Her Majesty
15. Her Majesty's formal approval given
16. Confirmation to Governor-designate that formal
approval given
17. Telegram to territory giving proposed date and text

23. POD Heads of Mission Section to arrange Audience
24. Security clearance for domestic servants
25. Confirm retirement date (see 2.) or inform CSD of termination date for purposes of gratuity for outgoing Governor
26. Draft Commission, clear with Legal Adviser and send
Commission to FOD Heads of Mission Section
27. POD Heads of Mission Section to despatch Commission
to Governor-designate, plus copies to territory
28. Inform Scouts, British Legion etc.
