POLICE:

The Police Force requires considerable attention. There has been no full scale inspection and review of the Force for many years but there have been brief visits by the Police Adviser and Regional Police Adviser. Within the general framework of the review of the Public Service, there should be a full scale review of the Royal Montserrat Police Force carried out by a Senior Police Officer, either the Police Adviser or someone appointed on TC terms. The state of equipment, vehicles, arms, radios etc has been already reviewed and an aid project submitted. This has been approved in part. To bring the Force up to standard it essential the project is approved in full (Mont- serrat).
