1. I am sorry I had to cancel at the last minute my arrangements for overnighting in Antigua on 23 January. I trust the office in Anguilla was able to get through to you early enough so as to avoid cancellation charges at the hotel.

Urgent developments required me to go to Tortola which was not on my schedule - where I had to answer a plea from the Governor to go and discuss something with him. I am sorry I missed seeing you and that I was not able to help share the burden of entertaining your visiting MPs that night.
